Well, the short answer is no!

Botulinum toxin, often referred to simply as ‘Botox’ by many patients, has long been used in aesthetic medicine to treat wrinkles, decrease muscle tone and even improve pore size and skin quality. Nowadays, there are lots of different toxins available widely in the market. Toxins can only be purchased (and should ideally be administered) by a licensed healthcare practitioner in Hong Kong.

Although toxins all achieve very similar results, it’s vital to speak to your doctor to know which toxin to use in which area of your face in order to achieve the results that you want. During each consultation we particularly discuss each toxin’s diffusion rate, longevity and even strength, coupled with our assessment of your facial muscle strengths, in order to recommend which toxin is best for you.

Above all else, please remember that toxin is still a drug and can cause potentially serious side effects. Please always consult your healthcare practitioner for advice and treatment.
