How Long Will My Downtime Be?

Have you ever wondered how long it will take for you to ‘look normal’ again after a medical aesthetic treatment or procedure? It’s one of the more common questions we get asked on a daily basis.

In short, it depends.

Your recovery will depend on both intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors that may delay your recovery include diseases such as diabetes and autoimmune diseases, or if you’re on any anticoagulant medications. Extrinsic factors are things that you can control, such as avoiding drinking alcohol, smoking, massaging (unless told to), and vigorous exercise.

It’s also important that you remain calm during the injection process to keep your blood pressure stable and prevent bruising!
